Each month, Peace Benefits will make a donation to a different cause or charity, and we kindly ask you to please also contribute whatever you can, directly to these organizations. We can assure you that every charity or cause we feature has been thoroughly vetted, and is widely respected as a reputable, honorable, trustworthy, and transparent organization. Please come back and visit us often and you’ll find a variety of charities that support many great causes, from mental illness, youth initiatives, disabled veterans, and animal rescue, to name a few.

Peace Benefits is proud to announce Chesapeake Care Clinic as our May Cause of the Month
The Chesapeake Care Clinic is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established in 1992 to provide medical and dental services to the low-income and underserved individuals in southeastern Virginia. The clinic was initially run by volunteer health care professionals who recognized a need and made a commitment to fulfill it. The demand for affordable health care grew and so a core staff was added to support the volunteer services. The clinic has a network of more than 500 licensed medical, dental, and administrative volunteers who make it possible to provide consistent, patient-focused care. Last year, volunteers donated more than 22,000 hours valued over $670,000.

Peace Benefits is proud to announce Dream Catchers as our April Cause of the Month
Founded in 1993, and located near Williamsburg, Virginia, Dream Catchers at the Cori Sikich Therapeutic Riding Center is a 501(C)(3) charitable organization that improves the quality of life for individuals with physical, emotional and developmental needs by providing evidence-based therapeutic horseback riding.
In 2004, Susan and John Sikich gave Dream Catchers a permanent home on 22 beautiful acres held in trust by the Cori Sikich Foundation, in memorial to their daughter, Cori Sikich, an accomplished equestrian who lost her life to an eating disorder. The Sikich family knew what an incredible impact horses had on Cori’s life and found a way to honor her when they discovered Dream Catchers.
Today Dream Catchers provides life-changing equine-assisted activities and therapies (EAAT) to a large and diverse community of children and adults with special needs on the Virginia Peninsula from Richmond to Norfolk, the Middle Peninsula, and the Northern Neck. Dream Catchers serves an average of 80 to 100 participants each week; all services are provided by credentialed providers Participants range in age from 4 years to seniors in their 90’s with more than 150 distinct diagnoses recorded. The organization is accredited by the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International (PATH Intl.) as a Premier Accredited Center.
